Attorney Brian DesRosiers has been practicing law since 1999. His practice is concentrated in the areas of estate planning, elder law (Medicaid planning), asset protection, business succession planning, corporate transactions, and general tax matters. Prior to forming DesRosiers & Tierney, Brian worked as a Partner at Cody & Cody, LLC in Quincy and as a corporate and estate planning associate at Cushing & Dolan in Boston.
Attorney DesRosiers has given numerous presentations and lectures on estate planning, elder law (Medicaid planning), asset protection and business succession planning. In July 2010, Attorney DesRosiers appeared as a guest on Money Matters talk radio to speak about Asset Protection Planning. In October 2010, he was featured in an article on estate planning by Senior Market Advisor Magazine. Brian has given numerous presentations as a faculty member for Massachusetts Continuing Legal Education (MCLE), speaking on topics such as business succession planning, charitable planning and postmortem planning.

Attorney James M. Tierney has been practicing law since 1993. His practice is concentrated in the areas of estate planning, probate and taxation. Prior to forming DesRosiers & Tierney, Jim worked as a Partner at Cody & Cody, LLC in Quincy, an estate planning associate at Cushing & Dolan in Boston and as a manager for PricewaterHouseCoopers.
Attorney Tierney frequently speaks at client seminars, offering presentations on various estate planning topics. Jim is a Massachusetts Continuing Legal Education (MCLE) faculty member. He has presented at a number of MCLE presentations.

Attorney Murray has been practicing in the area of Estate Planning for 20 years. Prior to becoming an attorney, she wrote for The Economist in Tokyo, worked as a financial analyst for State Street Bank, and earned an MBA in International Management (Thunderbird School of International Business). She holds a BA from Mount Holyoke College, and a JD from Suffolk Law School.
Her practice focuses on estate planning, particularly in the area of trusts, trust administration, special needs trusts, and tax planning.
She is a member of the Manchester-Essex Rotary, Cape Ann Chamber of Commerce, and the Essex County and Merrimack Valley Estate Planning Councils. She lives in Gloucester, MA with her husband and a small menagerie of pets that she "adopted" as her children left the nest. She has two young adult children, one serving in the US Army, and one attending college in the Boston area.
