In July 2010, Attorney DesRosiers appeared as a guest on Money Matters talk radio to speak about Asset Protection Planning. In October 2010, he was featured in an article on estate planning by Senior Market Advisor Magazine. Brian has given numerous presentations as a faculty member for Massachusetts Continuing Legal Education (MCLE), speaking on topics such as business succession planning, charitable planning and postmortem planning.

Katherine Sheehan is a Partner at the firm. Her practice is concentrated in the areas of estate, tax, charitable and long term care planning as well as trust and estate administration.

Prior to joining DesRosiers, Tierney & Sheehan, Katie was with Ruberto, Israel & Weiner, P.C., in Boston and Cody & Cody, LLC in Quincy, where she focused her practice in the areas of estate planning, both general and sophisticated, charitable planning, and long term care planning, as well as trust, probate and estate administration. Before joining Cody & Cody, Katie was Trust Counsel for Boston Financial Management, Inc. a Boston based investment advisory firm.

While attending Suffolk University Law School, Katie served as a research assistant for Professor Charles E. Rounds, Jr., aiding in the completion, of Loring A Trustee’s Handbook (2002 Edition).

Ms. Sheehan has also given numerous presentations on a variety of estate and long term care planning topics and she regularly serves as a faculty member for MCLE. She has also been a guest on the Money Matters radio program.

Katie also volunteers her time serving as a mentor for the Elder Law Project sponsored by the Women's Bar Foundation of Massachusetts.
